Pomegranate Chocolate

It seems my beloved pomegranate is the biggest thing in fruit flavours these days.

>> Pomegranate Piece Peace

>> May your pomegranate be a mighty red juicy one!

By the way, I am sure this Korean Pomegranate Chocolate will sell very well in Germany.

City Hall

Last Sunday we went to visit London City Hall, as part of the London Open House event. City Hall is home to the Mayor of London, the London Assembly and the GLA, who in July 2002 became tenants of this rounded glass building on the south bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge.

We also visited an architect's office and an old post office. Anyone interested in architecture should definitely look out for the Open House London event next year.

Last night's Ghormeh Sabzi.

Ghormeh Sabzi is one of the most popular stews in Persian cooking. It is often said to be Iran's national dish.

Osama bin Laden's beard seen in a new video tape featuring the Al-Qaeda leader has baffled the experts. The traditional grey beard of the terror mastermind looked trimmed and dyed in black in the video released last week.

I think he has been developing a new hair care product line while in hiding in Tora Bora:

According to Wikipedia Tora Bora means Black dust/dye!

Circumcised Abbas

Overlooking the ancient village of Cerne Abbas, Dorset, the Giant stands proud (in more ways than one) on the hillside. This chalk figure, depicting an aroused naked man wielding a club, is the largest chalk hill figure in Great Britain. The Cerne Abbas Giant is 180 feet high with an astounding 30-foot phallus. The Cerne Abbas Giant's manhood is causing even more of a stir than usual, it's suddenly turned purple. Vandals not only painted his manhood purple but also used permanent paint. The attack has angered the National Trust, which owns the site in Dorset.
